I watch it

Bringing more Blood
The Blood
It runs red
It flows
I cut even deeper
Causing more Blood
To ooze
The Blood
It comes

Still comes
I cut all the way through
More Blood comes
It doesn't stop

Je ne veux pas savoir ce que tu fais pour gagner ta vie. Je veux savoir ce qui te passionne et si tu as le courage de réaliser tes rêves.

Je ne veux pas savoir quel âge tu as. Je veux savoir si tu peux tout risquer pour l'amour et l'aventure de la vie.

Je ne veux pas savoir sous quel signe tu es né. Je veux savoir si les épreuves de la vie ont ouvert ton coeur ou si, au contraire, elles l'ont fermé à jamais.

Je ne veux pas savoir si tu dis la vérité ou non. Je veux savoir si tu peux supporter le poids d'un accusation et ne pas trahir ton âme, si tu es fidèle et si je peux mettre ma confiance en toi.

Je ne veux pas savoir où tu habites et combien tu gagnes. Je veux savoir si tu peux te relever après avoir connu le désespoir.

Je ne veux pas savoir d'où tu viens. Je veux savoir si tu peux te tenir au milieu du feu avec moi sans reculer.

Je ne veux pas connaître l'objet de tes études. Je veux savoir ce qui t'a permis de continuer quand tu étais découragé.

Untitled nights

At night we tread softly towards the river where we undress.

Everything is slow motion in the silver light of one million diamonds that glow overhead, and our bodies are feathered dove’s wings.

We float together into the grass that stands tall like a thick forest, and lay with our backs to the sky, our arms and legs entangled.

The sounds of night echo in our hearts, smooth but sharp.

Continuous but broken.

Birds and crickets and other wild things.

We can close our eyes, encompassed in dark, and still see each other’s face.

Smiling and sighing.

Our teeth are white pearls, the kind you see around a mermaid’s neck. when five hours come and go, the black will turn to blue like the surface of the ocean, and slowly our cheeks will glow with rose highlights.

Our lips will blossom into warm pink buds, and our cold pale fingertips will become gold flesh again.

I will touch your skin and sink into the many layers of your warmth, like falling deeper and deeper into a valley of fog.

And we will watch the sun rise from behind closed eyes.

From within each other’s arms.

You ripple, you oscillate ; you wave,
And crash into my body only to be expelled through my heart like bats fleeing from a cave.
You hold on tight, you give; and you take away,
Amidst the covert transition from night to day.
You are so beautiful that looking at you consumes my mind
with anxiety and strange relief,
The butterflies inside my brain perch quietly only when I am not looking at you in disbelief.
Sometimes I look upon you and wonder if heaven is on Earth; you are my window into the vast unknown,
Only you can bring me solace when you are overcast and you are a daily reminder that I am not alone.
You are the sky, you are the celestial getaway for the mind; you are the center of my life,
You are the moody, whimsical husband and I am the devoted, loving wife.
Because of you the world is alive; every afternoon I worship the color of your skin,
Dark blue above me and deep, deep orange and pink on the horizon.
The sun and the clouds come to together to pay homage and refract sweet light,
After the rain has fallen and the weary clouds go about their business, the setting sun is the most beautiful sight.
When you are black, you are fine--the stars twinkle when they weep,
And when you are blue, you are such a calming force--the butterflies in my head go right to sleep.
When you are sad, the sun loses the will to shine as grey clouds gather and consume,
Ice cold tears fall one after the other and in the distance lightning and silent flashes ominously loom.
When you are hurt, your blood flows thick and quickly across your pink and purple flesh; the sky seems like it is on fire,
And I love it when you are hurting--I want to see the flames go higher and higher.
You are the often ignored beauty; not enough people look up to see what I see,
You are magnificent, beautiful, and strange..you are just like me...
